Qualifications

• Requires a vocational/technical certificate or an associate degree.
• Military technical training may be considered in lieu of degree.
• Basic computer use includes word processing, spreadsheets, and email.

Responsibilities

• Undergo 9–24 months of orientation and training at a designated location.
• Receive on‑the‑job training alongside experienced pipeline personnel.
• Training covers shutdown coordination, line pressure maintenance, lockout/tagout, hydrate mitigation, and related duties.
• Learn safety procedures, regulatory requirements, hazardous materials handling, and related systems.
