Job summary

Enterprise Products Partners L.P. is seeking a Pipeline Technician Trainee in Albany, GA. You will maintain refined product pipelines, LPG pipelines, and pump stations, performing inspections, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, and a willingness to work overtime and on-call. Candidates should live within one hour of the report-to location and be safety-minded with good mechanical aptitude.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• VoTech certificate or associate degree or related work experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills including spreadsheet and word processing.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Minimum of 3 years stable work history, preferably in the energy industry.
• Must demonstrate mechanical aptitude and dexterity in the use of tools and equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret alignment sheets, schematics and P&IDs.
• Must be able to perform basic mathematical calculations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, decision making skills and strong work ethic.
• Able to work independently as well as maintain and promote good working relationships within a team environment.
• Able to assume responsibility, be flexible, perform duties and handle multiple tasks.
• Must be willing to work overtime and callouts.
• Required to live within a one-hour commute time the report-to location.
• Self-motivated and safety-conscious with a drive to learn.

Responsibilities

• Routine maintenance of centrifugal pumps and electric motors.
• Maintenance on valves, compressors, actuators and related equipment.
• Assist with replacement of pumps, motors, valves, and other equipment including foundation work, alignment, testing and startup.
• Participate in training programs and safety reviews as required.
• Respond to operational emergencies as a member of the area emergency response team.
• Launch and receive cleaning pigs and assist with pig operations.
• Obtain services from contractors and supervise their work.
