Job summary

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Northwest Indiana seeks a Club Director – Leadership Development Program based in Portage, IN. You will manage day-to-day operations, lead programs, and prepare for a permanent Club Director role within Lake or Porter County.

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience.
• At least two years of experience in youth development, nonprofit management, or related field.
• Experience leading, supervising, coaching and developing staff.
• Demonstrated ability to recruit, retain and motivate employees.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage day-to-day Club operations with program quality and safety in focus.
• Train alongside experienced Club Directors to learn varied operations and partnerships.
• Develop programs and services that prepare youth for success and support outcomes.
• Create a safe, welcoming Club environment where members and staff feel valued.
• Provide leadership, supervision, coaching and professional development to staff and volunteers.
• Oversee budgeting, financial management and resource allocation.
