Job summary

Heights Wellness Retreats seeks an upbeat and detail-oriented Assistant Retreat Director to oversee daily retreat operations, report to the Spa Director, and elevate guest experiences from arrival to departure. You will drive membership initiatives, mentor staff, and ensure alignment with brand standards in a premium wellness setting.

The role emphasizes leadership, guest service excellence, and collaboration with the Spa Director to grow memberships while maintaining a luxurious guest journey

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of experience in membership sales.
• Minimum of 2 years of leadership experience in wellness or spa service setting is preferred.
• Working knowledge of Zenoti or similar spa management software is preferred.
• Familiarity with operating standards in a branded or franchise environment is preferred.
• Excellent at guest communication.

Responsibilities

• Champion the Cloud 9 Wellness Experience, ensuring each guest receives personalized care from arrival to departure.
• Promote the therapeutic and wellness benefits of massage and skincare therapy.
• Partner with the Spa Director on membership strategy, including overcoming obstacles and building rapport.
• Foster meaningful connections that empower guests on their wellness paths.
• Resolve guest concerns with empathy, professionalism, and alignment to brand tone.
• Assist with recruitment, hiring, training, and developing and retaining team members.
• Facilitate front desk associate training and coaching with role-playing to support membership sales.
• Model excellence at the front desk through a lead-by-example approach, providing ongoing coaching and mentorship to elevate team performance.
• Serve as the Spa Director's right hand and act as a trusted partner, bringing a proactive, self-starter mindset to everything you do.

Schedule/Expected work hours

• 6–10-hour shifts
• Must be able to work varied shifts to include evenings, weekends, and holidays.
