Terra Mae Restaurant in Portland, OR, is seeking enthusiastic servers to join our team and deliver an exceptional dining experience blending Portuguese and Japanese flavors. As a server, you will guide guests through the menu, provide attentive service, and ensure memorable visits.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of serving in upscale dining
• Minimum of 2 shifts per week
• Passion for food, beverage, and cultural fusion
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Strong multitasking abilities and a positive attitude
• Must be at least 18 years old and able to obtain any necessary food and beverage service certifications

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests with warmth and professionalism
• Develop menu knowledge and guide guests through selections
• Accurately take and input food and beverage orders
• Serve dishes and beverages with attention to presentation
• Monitor tables and maintain a clean, welcoming environment
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service
• Proactively upsell menu items and beverages
• Handle cash and electronic payments with receipts
