Job summary

AIRO Group Holdings, Inc. in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a CAM Programmer/CNC Machinist to support production of carbon fiber components for drones. You will program, set up, fixture, document processes, inspect parts, and operate an industrial CNC router.

The role includes adapting programs for a new machine, establishing documentation, and becoming the primary CNC operator as processes mature. You will read drawings, develop fixtures, verify programs, run production, monitor quality, and support

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience with industrial CNC routers and carbon fiber/military composites a plus.
• Fusion 360 CAM programming experience required or strongly preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specs.
• Ability to set up, modify, and troubleshoot CNC programs independently.
• Experience developing fixtures and work holding for production.

Responsibilities

• Create, modify, and maintain CAM programs for CNC operations.
• Adapt programs to a new machine platform and fixture setups.
• Set up and prove out new jobs on CNC router.
• Assist with startup and implementation of new CNC machine.
• Develop and improve fixtures and work holding.
• Interpret drawings and process information for machining.
• Establish setup methods and verify programs before production.
• Run parts and monitor machine performance and quality.
• Perform inspection and document results.
• Maintain setup sheets and process documentation.
• Troubleshoot machining issues and implement corrective actions.
• Work with engineering/quality to improve processes.
• Manage tooling, consumables, and materials for router operations.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area.
