Steinhafels Furniture is seeking an associate to work in our furniture warehouse and retail store backroom. The role focuses on moving furniture to the showroom floor, unboxing, assembling, and re-boxing items with emphasis on safety and customer service.

Qualifications

• Physical stamina required to move and assemble furniture.
• Must be able to pass a 75lb lift test prior to employment.
• Customer service orientation to assist showroom customers.
• Demonstrates self-motivation and reliability with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Assemble furniture according to manufacturer specifications.
• Move and transport furniture safely around the showroom and backroom.
• Assist customers with merchandise pick-up and provide positive service.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and report discrepancies.
• Unbox and re-box furniture for display or storage.
• Keep showroom organized and safe, following safety protocols.
• Use power tools safely and effectively for assembly.
• Demonstrate flexibility to work evenings and weekends.
