Job summary

Steinhafels is seeking an associate to work in our furniture warehouse and backroom. This role moves furniture to the showroom, and includes unboxing, assembly, and re-boxing of a wide variety of items.

It requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and a strong focus on customer service. The position supports showroom operations, with the ability to lift heavy items and work evenings/weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be able to pass a 75lb physical lift test.
• Ability to assemble furniture according to manufacturer specs.
• Strong focus on customer service and safety.

Responsibilities

• Assemble furniture to specification and ensure safety and quality.
• Move furniture to showroom floor and backroom areas.
• Assist customers with merchandise pickup and service.
• Maintain accurate inventory and report discrepancies.
• Unbox and re-box items for display or storage.
• Keep showroom displays organized and safe.
