Job summary

Steinhafels is seeking an associate to work in our furniture warehouse and backroom. You will move furniture to the showroom floor, unbox and assemble items, and re-box them for storage or shipping.

The role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a focus on customer service as you assist customers with pickup and ensure accurate inventory.

Candidates should be reliable, able to work evenings and weekends, and comfortable using power tools under safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Self-motivated and proactive with minimal supervision.
• Ability to safely and effectively use power tools for furniture assembly.
• Reliable with strong attendance and punctuality.
• Able to pass a physical lift test to handle heavy furniture.
• Willingness to work evenings and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assemble furniture according to manufacturer specifications.
• Move and transport furniture between warehouse and showroom floors.
• Assist customers with merchandise pickup and service.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and report discrepancies or damages.
• Unbox and re-box new furniture for display or storage.
• Help organize and maintain showroom displays for safety and aesthetics.
• Follow safety protocols and proper lifting techniques.
