Job summary

Ashley Furniture in Louisville, KY, seeks a Retail Warehouse Associate to join our on-site distribution team. You will receive, move, store, assemble and prepare furniture for pickup or delivery while following safety procedures.

You will operate forklifts and pallet jacks, assist with product prep and minor repairs, and contribute to inventory accuracy. We offer competitive pay, healthcare, and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Physical capability to lift, carry and move furniture up to 100 lbs.
• Strong commitment to safety procedures and company policies.
• Ability to work as part of a team and communicate effectively.
• Experience in warehouse, distribution, retail, or furniture handling is preferred but not required; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Safely receive, move, store, assemble, and prepare furniture and home furnishings throughout the warehouse and distribution process.
• Operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts, lifts, pallet jacks, and dollies, following safety procedures.
• Inspect, prepare, and maintain merchandise to Ashley quality standards for pickup or delivery.
• Load, unload, organize, and stage merchandise to support efficient warehouse operations and inventory accuracy.
• Assist with product preparation, minor repairs, touch-ups, and repackaging to ensure merchandise is ready for customers.
• Support inventory management activities, including merchandise tracking, cycle counts, and physical inventories.
• Provide exemplary customer service in the warehouse and in customers’ homes, representing the Ashley brand.
