Job summary

Ashley Furniture is hiring a Retail Warehouse Associate to safely receive, move, and prepare furniture across our fulfillment centers. You will operate forklifts and other equipment, inspect merchandise, and help stage orders for pickup or delivery.

Qualifications

• Able to safely lift, carry, push, pull, and maneuver furniture up to 100 pounds.
• Experience in warehouse, distribution, or retail handling preferred but not required; training provided.
• Strong focus on customer service, accuracy and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Safely receive, move, store, assemble, and prepare furniture and home furnishings throughout the warehouse and distribution process.
• Operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts, lifts, pallet jacks, and dollies, following safety procedures.
• Inspect, prepare, and maintain merchandise to meet Ashley quality standards before pickup or delivery.
• Load, unload, organize, and stage merchandise to support efficient warehouse operations and inventory accuracy.
• Assist with product preparation, minor repairs, touch-ups, and repackaging to ensure merchandise is customer-ready.
• Support inventory management activities, including tracking, cycle counts, and physical inventories.
• Demonstrate exemplary customer service and act as a trusted Ashley representative in the warehouse and at customers’ homes.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment and complete documentation on time.
