Ashley Furniture is hiring for a Retail Warehouse Associate in Springfield, MO. You will safely handle furniture through all stages of the warehouse process, operate equipment, inspect and prepare merchandise, and support inventory management while delivering excellent customer service.

The role emphasizes safety, reliability, and teamwork in a fast-paced retail fulfillment environment with opportunities for growth and benefits including healthcare, PTO, and employee discounts.

Qualifications

• Able to safely lift, carry, push, pull, and maneuver furniture up to 100 pounds; occasional assistance for heavier items.
• Experience in warehouse, distribution, or furniture handling preferred but not required; training provided.
• Commitment to high standards of product quality, accuracy, and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with customers, teammates and leaders.
• Demonstrates a reliable work ethic, attendance, and safety compliance.

Responsabilités

• Safely receive, move, store, assemble, and prepare furniture and home furnishings throughout the warehouse and distribution process.
• Operate warehouse equipment including forklifts, lifts, pallet jacks, and dollies following safety procedures.
• Inspect, prepare, and maintain merchandise to meet Ashley quality standards before pickup or delivery.
• Load, unload, organize, and stage merchandise to support efficient warehouse operations and inventory accuracy.
• Assist with product preparation, minor repairs, touch-ups, and repackaging for customer readiness.
• Support inventory management activities including merchandise tracking, cycle counts, and physical inventories.
• Provide exemplary customer service in the warehouse and in customers’ homes, representing the Ashley brand.
