Job Description

We are urgently seeking a reliable and energetic full-time Transfer Driver. The Transfer Driver works as part of a team in the warehouse operations. The responsibilities include driving a company delivery vehicle to transport merchandise between the warehouse and stores, as well as loading and unloading merchandise.

A CDL is NOT required for this position. License MUST be approved by insurance. Come be part of the growing team!

Primary Responsibilities

1. Load, secure, and protect merchandise in the delivery vehicle and safely transport it.
2. Unload merchandise and perform basic assembly.
3. Ensure all merchandise has an inspection tag if opened and inspected.
4. Obtain parts and paperwork prior to leaving the warehouse or store.
5. Keep merchandise hardware with its respective piece.
6. Maintain furniture supplies like modi-plates, plastic bags, and mirror screws.
7. Assist with merchandise setup on the showroom floor.
8. Maintain records of deliveries and pickups, submitting paperwork to the supervisor.
9. Report incidents, accidents, injuries, or damages immediately.
10. Comply with driver qualification policy and transportation laws.
11. Report traffic violations affecting license or insurability.
12. Follow safety standards and conduct vehicle inspections daily.
13. Ensure the vehicle is fueled, parked properly, and kept clean.
14. Assist in warehouse cleanliness and serve as backup driver.
15. Perform other duties as assigned.

Compensation

$18 per hour, with benefits including health, dental, vision, life insurance, paid vacations, profit sharing, and furniture discounts.
