We are hiring dedicated Local CDL Class A Drivers in Tampa, FL! Established in 1978, United Scrap Metal has grown into one of the largest full-service recyclers in the country, offering comprehensive recycling solutions with a commitment to integrity and community impact.

Job Overview

The driver will be responsible for safely picking up, transporting, and delivering freight. This role reports to the Transportation Manager and is supervised by Dispatchers.

Pay and Benefits

• $24 - $26 per hour plus overtime after 40 hours

• Work hours: 50-55 hours/week, Monday to Friday, weekends off

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of relevant industry experience preferred
• Current Class A Driver's License
• Experience in recycling industry and ability to identify metal materials; experience with van, flatbed, gondola, and roll-off trucks is a plus
• Must pass pre-employment physical, background, credit checks, and DOT standards including driving record check
• Stable job history, dependable attendance, and trustworthy references are desired
