Job description

Trillium Drivers is seeking to bring on a Class A Driver, with HAZMAT Endorsement for a permanent opportunity.

This is a temp to hired assignment that will be responsible for multi-stop deliveries of materials used for paints, polyester, epoxy and fiberglass . This would be for Local deliveries, home every night. Pay is $23-$24 / hr. 4AM start.

Responsibilities

• Complete all deliveries as scheduled for assigned area in a timely manner.
• Safely operate a tractor-trailer truck.
• Inspect truck before and after trip.
• Properly track and document activity log.
• Maintains and ensures truck is clean and maintained.
• Immediately report issues or incidents.
• Abide by local and state laws.
• Adhere to safety rules, traffic laws and all company policies and procedures.
• Performs other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements :

• Clean Class A Drivers' License.
• Minimum one year of driving experience.
• Previous experience with transporting hazardous materials (preferred).
• Ability to sit / stand / walk for 8 hours and lift heavy objects.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 - 75 pounds.
• Strong work ethic, self-motivated and detail oriented.
