Job summary

Farmers Home Furniture is seeking a customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to help customers select and purchase home furnishings while aiming to hit sales goals. You will advise on quality, style, and value, and process orders and credits.

You will maintain attractive displays, assist with deliveries/pickups, and enter customer information into the CRM. Strong communication and basic math skills are required; retail experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; six months experience in practical retail sales; or any combination of training, experience and education which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities for this position.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in selecting and purchasing merchandise to achieve sales goals.
• Advise customers on quality, style, or value of home furnishings merchandise and meet customer needs.
• Process orders, verify prices, and update CRM with customer records.
