Job summary

Raymour & Flanigan Furniture and Mattresses is seeking a Sales Consultant to help customers select furniture through consultative selling and needs assessment. You will build relationships, engage new and existing customers, and drive sales while delivering exceptional service.

You will identify upselling opportunities, manage client relationships for repeat business, and work toward sales quotas in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Training and growth opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• A passion for customer service and creating a great customer experience.
• Strong listening skills and a naturally consultative approach.
• Experience connecting with customers in retail, hospitality, service, or sales.
• Confidence in guiding decisions, including closing sales and handling objections.
• Interest in building relationships that drive repeat business (CRM).
• Comfort with goals, including quotas and KPIs.
• Flexibility to work a retail schedule (evenings, weekends, holidays).
• Comfort with technology and learning new tools.
• Sales experience is great but not required.
