Qualifications

• Experience with POS systems, cashiering, and basic retail math.
• Supervisory or leadership experience beneficial for team collaboration.
• Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills.
• Familiarity with merchandising standards and stocking procedures.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assist them in selecting furniture that meets their needs and style preferences
• Demonstrate product features through engaging demos and explain benefits clearly to encourage purchases
• Maintain attractive merchandise displays and ensure products are well-stocked and properly organized through merchandising and stocking tasks
• Process sales transactions efficiently using POS (Point of Sale) systems, handle cash and card payments accurately, and manage cash handling procedures
• Upsell complementary products or accessories to maximize sales opportunities while providing excellent customer service
• Provide detailed product information, answer customer questions with professionalism, and maintain excellent phone etiquette when assisting remotely or over the phone
• Support inventory management by monitoring stock levels, assisting with stock replenishment, and ensuring accurate record keeping
