Living Spaces Furniture is seeking a Furniture Repair Technician I to repair, restore, and inspect merchandise damaged or with manufacturer defects. The role may involve work in the shop or on the dock to ensure outbound shipments are accurate and damage-free.
The candidate will perform upholstery repair, leather and wood repairs, and assist with product assembly while following SOPs and safety guidelines. Team members may receive benefits and overtime opportunities where eligible.
The Furniture Repair Technician 1 repairs, restores, and inspects merchandise that has been damaged or has manufacturer defects. Will work inside the shop or on the dock ensuring outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage.
LS1A
Education/Experience: High School Diploma or GED equivalent. Minimum 1-2 years experience working with upholstery, an array of fabrics, wood furniture, leather and veneer finishes. Able to use necessary tools and equipment. Strong working knowledge of leather repairs, wood repairs including scratches, dents and split wood. Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.

Supervisory Responsibilities: This position will not have any supervisory responsibilities.
The hiring pay range provides a good faith estimate of the salary or hourly wage that Living Spaces expects to pay for the position upon hire. Pay will be determined by several factors, including, but not limited to: applicant's education, relevant work experience, knowledge, applicable and relevant skills and abilities, market demand, Company budget, as well as internal equity and alignment with geographic market data. Overtime pay is available for eligible, non-exempt Team Members. Reimbursement for expenses as required by applicable law and Company policy.Retail, Guest Services and Distribution Center Team Members are eligible to receive team bonus based on meeting specific goals and KPI's.
