Job summary

University of Oklahoma is seeking a team-oriented furniture hauler responsible for moving and adjusting furniture in campus spaces and warehouses. You will lift and move items from vehicles, around OU facilities, and assist with repairs and general maintenance.

Position requires a high school diploma or GED and at least 12 months of driving experience; must hold a valid Oklahoma driver’s license or obtain one within 30 days. Post-offer employment testing (POET) applies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 12 months of driving experience required.
• Valid Oklahoma driver's license or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Lifts and moves furniture and appliances within spaces and to/from designated areas.
• Apprises and repairs furniture as needed.
• Assists with shipping/receiving, delivery, and storage for OU Housing and Food Services.
• Operates as part of a small team managing items in residence halls, offices, restaurants and apartments.
