Caring Transitions of Newtown, PA is seeking a reliable Furniture Mover to safely relocate furniture for residential clients. This part-time position offers flexible hours and pays $20 to $25 per hour depending on experience.

You should be physically capable of lifting heavy items, able to work in various weather conditions, and travel to job sites as needed. A valid driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• Must lift 75+ lbs repeatedly.
• Able to work in various weather conditions.
• 18 years old with a valid driver’s license and ability to travel to job locations.
• Experience in junk removal, moving, or a similar labor-intensive job is a plus.
• Strong work ethic, punctuality, and teamwork.
• Must satisfy a pre-employment background check after offer of employment is accepted.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload furniture, appliances, and other heavy items
• Remove and dispose of junk, debris, and unwanted materials responsibly
• Assist with moving services, including packing, lifting, and transporting furniture
• Potentially operate company vehicles and equipment
• Communicate professionally with clients and the Transition Team
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including the truck and tools
• Follow safety guidelines and company policies

In this role, you will be responsible for safely moving furniture for residential clients - among other things described below. The ideal candidate is physically capable to lift and move large items, customer-service oriented, seeking flexible hours, and enjoys hands-on work. Pay is $20 to $25 an hour depending on experience.
