Job summary

Caring Transitions of Newtown, PA is seeking a reliable Furniture Mover to join our team on a part-time basis. You will safely load and unload furniture for residential clients, assist with packing and moving tasks, and maintain a clean work area while following safety guidelines.

The ideal candidate can lift 75+ lbs repeatedly, is customer-service oriented, and comfortable with varied weather and travel to job sites.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift 75+ lbs repeatedly.
• Ability to work in various weather conditions and perform physical labor.
• 18 years old with a valid driver's license and ability to travel to job locations.
• Experience in junk removal, moving, or a similar labor-intensive job is a plus.
• Strong work ethic, punctuality, and teamwork skills.
• Must satisfy a pre-employment background check after offer of employment is accepted.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload furniture, appliances, and other heavy items.
• Remove and dispose of junk, debris, and unwanted materials responsibly.
• Assist with moving services, including packing, lifting, and transporting furniture.
• Potentially operate company vehicles and equipment.
• Communicate professionally with clients and the Transition Team.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including the truck and tools.
• Follow safety guidelines and company policies.

Job Summary:
Caring Transitions of Newtown, PA, is looking for a reliable and hardworking individual to join our team as a Furniture Mover. In this role, you will be responsible for safely moving furniture for residential clients - among other things described below. The ideal candidate is physically capable to lift and move large items, customer-service oriented, seeking flexible hours, and enjoys hands-on work. Pay is $20 to $25 an hour depending on experience.
