Caring Transitions of Newtown, PA, is seeking a reliable Furniture Mover to assist with moving furniture for residential clients. The role emphasizes safe lifting, customer service, and hands-on work in a flexible part-time schedule. Qualifications

Responsabilités

• Load and unload furniture, appliances, and other heavy items.
• Remove and dispose of junk, debris, and unwanted materials responsibly.
• Assist with moving services, including packing, lifting, and transporting furniture.
• Potentially operate company vehicles and equipment.
• Communicate professionally with clients and the Transition Team.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including the truck and tools.
• Follow safety guidelines and company policies.

Job Summary

Caring Transitions of Newtown, PA, is looking for a reliable and hardworking individual to join our team as a Furniture Mover. In this role, you will be responsible for safely moving furniture for residential clients - among other things described below. The ideal candidate is physically capable to lift and move large items, customer-service oriented, seeking flexible hours, and enjoys hand-on work. Pay is $20 to $25 an hour depending on experience.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload furniture, appliances, and other heavy items
• Remove and dispose of junk, debris, and unwanted materials responsibly
• Assist with moving services, including packing, lifting, and transporting furniture
• Potentially operate company vehicles and equipment
• Communicate professionally with clients and the Transition Team
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including the truck and tools
• Follow safety guidelines and company policies

Requirements

• Must be able to lift 75+ lbs repeatedly
• Ability to work in various weather conditions and perform physical labor
• 18 years old with a valid driver's license and ability to travel to job locations
• Experience in junk removal, moving, or a similar labor-intensive job is a plus
• Strong work ethic, punctuality, and teamwork skills
• Must satisfy a pre-employment background check after offer of employment is accepted
