Job summary

Williams-Sonoma, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Furniture Framer for our Claremont, NC facility.

You will assemble pre-constructed frame parts, ensure squareness and smooth edges, and inspect for defects to maintain product quality. Ideal candidates have at least 3 years of frame-building experience in furniture manufacturing, can follow assembly instructions, keep precise records, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment while meeting delivery schedules.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of Frame Building experience in a furniture manufacturing environment.
• Ability to keep accurate records and follow documented procedures and standards.
• Ability to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment to assure delivery requirements.
• Ability to interpret simple frame assembly instructions commonly placed in frame assembly manual.

Responsibilities

• Obtain pre-constructed frame parts from pallet by pushing, pulling and lifting onto workstation.
• Assemble the frame parts based on the design specifications and measurements.
• Ensure the frames are square, level, and are ground off level to result in a smooth outside edge and that no staples are on outside of frame.
• Inspect frame for any defects such as misalignments, warping, cracks, staples and make corrections as needed.
