Job summary

Williams-Sonoma, Inc Supply Chain is seeking an Inside Upholsterer for our Claremont, NC operation. The role involves building furniture components with fiber stuffing, cotton, foam padding and ensuring smooth, rounded surfaces.

The job requires careful attention to detail, ability to read production tickets, and the physical capability to lift 50–75 lb repeatedly in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in production of upper-end upholstered furniture.
• Good attention to detail and ability to work with hands.
• Experience in reading and understanding production tickets.

Responsibilities

• Pull next piece available in line; all supplies, cushions, and backs are already with the piece.
• Conduct initial inspection to assure cover matches ticket on piece, including cushions and backs.
• Re-check before placing on lift to ensure all parts are included.
• Verify grain runs straight and there are no lumps, holes, or cat tracks.
• Fit cushions to in-back and in-arm to eliminate gaps.
• Ensure seams are straight, welts are even, and no gaps.
• Pass the post-offer job screen.
