Job summary

Raymour & Flanigan Furniture and Mattresses in Seekonk, MA seeks a Furniture Delivery Assistant to support our delivery team. You will inspect, wrap, and prepare orders for transport, assist with loading and unloading, and help assemble furniture at customers' homes with care and professionalism to create a warm, memorable experience.

This role requires a valid driver's license, the ability to lift heavy items, and a teamwork mindset to ensure safe, on-time deliveries while upholding our safety

Qualifications

• Commitment to safety and keeping a clean, organized work area.
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
• Ability to collaborate with the delivery partner for excellent service.
• Strong work ethic, attention to detail in a fast-paced setting.
• Professional, courteous, customer-focused attitude under pressure.
• Physical ability to lift, lower, push and pull furniture over 200 lbs, incl. stairs.

Responsibilities

• Support the Delivery Driver to ensure customers receive furniture with care and professionalism.
• Inspect, wrap, and prepare each order for transport.
• Assist with loading and unloading the truck.
• Assemble furniture at the customer's home and place items as requested.
• Contribute to a warm, memorable delivery experience.
