Job summary

Raymour & Flanigan Furniture and Mattresses is seeking a Furniture Delivery Assistant to support the Delivery Driver and ensure a quality delivery experience. You will inspect, wrap, and prepare each order, assist with loading/unloading, and help assemble items at the customer's home, placing furniture where they want it.

In this role you will be part of a team focused on safety, efficiency, and customer satisfaction, with the opportunity to grow through cross training and a strong compensation

Qualifications

• Safety practices and maintaining a clean, safe work environment.
• Ability to operate with a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record (preferred).
• Collaborative work style with delivery partner to provide great service.
• Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to perform in a fast-paced setting.
• Professional, courteous, and customer-focused attitude in challenging situations.
• Physical ability to lift, push, pull furniture over 200 lbs., and navigate stairs and tight spaces.

Responsibilities

• Support the Delivery Driver to ensure customers receive their furniture with care and professionalism.
• Inspect, wrap, and prepare each order for transport; assist with loading and unloading.
• Assemble furniture at the customer's home and place items as requested.
• Contribute to a warm, memorable delivery experience for customers.
