Job summary

Farmers Furniture is seeking a customer-focused sales associate to assist shoppers in selecting and purchasing home furnishings. You will help meet store sales goals and maintain accurate CRM records while delivering friendly service on the sales floor.

Responsibilities include advising customers, processing payments and credits, arranging deliveries, and keeping displays neat. Prior retail experience is beneficial, with a High School Diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Assists customers in selecting and purchasing merchandise to achieve sales goals.
• Advises customers on quality, style or value of home furnishings.
• Verifies prices and records items on sales orders.
• Sets up advertising displays and stocks shelves and counters.
• Handles customer inquiries in person or by phone and completes credit applications.
• Maintains clean and organized sales area and updates CRM records.
• Arranges delivery or pickup times and documents accordingly.
• Sends thank-you notes and maintains sales records.
