Job summary

Precision Castparts Corp. is seeking a skilled production operator to run multiple vacuum furnaces, perform loading/unloading, and maintain records of daily operations. The role requires following strict lot instructions, safety rules, and 6S practices, with occasional forklift use and heavy lifting.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma and basic OJT experience, with ability to train teammates and operate within a high-temperature, fast-paced foundry environment.

Qualifications

• Operates vacuum furnaces (equiax, D.S.) and records necessary information.
• Maintains furnaces with PMs and cleans chambers for optimal performance.
• Interpret and follow operating instructions and lot specs; knowledge of OI a must.

Responsibilities

• Operate 3 vacuum furnaces and record daily work with correct codes.
• Melt coils and change susceptors/coils as required.
• Maintain safe, productive workplace and follow 6S and safety rules.
• Train workers and lead preheat operators to meet goals.
• Able to lift up to 30 pounds and operate a forklift as needed.
