Veracity Ventures Inc. in Etowah, TN, seeks an experienced Furnace Superintendent to lead a 24/7 furnace operation and a large hourly workforce in a fast-paced industrial setting.

This full-time leadership role focuses on driving production performance, safety, and quality across the plant. Responsibilities include troubleshooting, continuous improvement, budgeting, and cross-functional collaboration to maximize asset utilization and output.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of manufacturing management/operational leadership experience.
• Glass manufacturing, furnace operations, or similar manufacturing experience preferred.
• Experience managing hourly employees and large production teams.
• Comfortable working in a 24/7/365 manufacturing environment and handling after-hours operational issues.
• Strong production, quality, raw-material, planning, scheduling, and cost-control experience.
• Experience with process troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and corrective actions.
• Strong OSHA, safety, environmental, and regulatory compliance knowledge.
• Lean Manufacturing/Continuous Improvement experience.
• Experience with productivity, asset utilization, labor management, and budgeting.
• Experience with SAP/ERP preferred.
• Union workforce experience preferred.
• Bachelor's or Associate degree in Engineering, Management, Manufacturing, or a related field preferred; equivalent education and experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Oversee a 24/7 manufacturing operation, ensuring production targets are met safely and efficiently.
• Lead a large hourly workforce and coordinate cross-functional teams to maintain peak performance.
• Drive production performance while upholding safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
• Troubleshoot operational issues, conduct root-cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to optimize processes and reduce waste.
