Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience: Previous customer service and/or sales experience preferred
• Proficient with MS Office suite and databases preferred; ability and willingness to learn required

Responsibilities

• Prepares for services including delivering and setting up floral arrangements, chairs, caskets, urns and other keepsakes
• Assists with proper care and storage of these items
• Prepares documents related to services, cremations, maintenance
• Assists with preparation of remains including dressing and lifting as permitted by law
• Performs office duties and operates office equipment and systems
• Run errands for flowers and supplies
• Serves as an usher and may park cars or perform transportation
• Drives funeral home vehicles for services and pickups
• Ensures refreshments are available where allowed by law
• Assists with visitations and services with setup and dressing
• Greets client families and provides information at the office
