Job summary

Service Corporation International seeks a part-time Funeral Services Assistant to support funeral operations and assist families with information and services. You will perform clerical duties, help prepare services, and assist with transportation and setup of items for ceremonies.

Strong customer service and compassionate communication are essential. Proficiency in MS Office and a willingness to learn are expected, with a high school diploma or equivalent required.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: Previous customer service and/or sales experience preferred.
• Proficiency with MS Office suite and databases preferred; ability and willingness to learn required.

Responsibilities

• Supports funeral operations and client inquiries with clerical and administrative duties.
• Answers phones courteously and provides information on funeral and cremation topics.
• Prepares for services, including setup of floral arrangements, chairs, caskets, urns, and keepsakes.
• Assists with transportation, visits, and memorial/funeral services as requested by management.
