Job summary

Service Corporation International is seeking a Dispatch/Logistics Associate at East Bay Care Center in Oakland to coordinate daily resource scheduling for removals, visitations, and memorial services.

The role requires at least 6 months in scheduling or logistics, a high school diploma, and a valid driver’s license; you’ll work in a fast-paced environment with strong customer service and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Current valid driver’s license may be required.
• Minimum of six (6) months scheduling or logistics experience.
• Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of the company's service promise, services, capabilities, policies procedures and practices.

Responsibilities

• Dispatch resources to meet client family needs.
• Process removal paperwork and initiate required documentation.
• Schedule dispatch of vehicles and associates to ensure services are provided as scheduled.
• Maintain in-house scheduling of location resources.
• Manage inventory of caskets and cremation containers for the market.
