Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited college/university.
• Graduate of ABFSE-accredited funeral service program.
• Must hold current Texas Funeral Director’s license within 90 days of hire.
• Demonstrated ability to work with diverse students, staff, and community.

Responsibilities

• Develops course syllabi with clear learning objectives.
• Teaches course material as per syllabus and catalog; links instruction to career expectations.
• Prepare and grade examinations; provide timely feedback.
• Assist on-campus clinical embalming labs and restorative arts labs.
• Maintain attendance and grade records; provide academic advising when needed.
• Participate in faculty meetings and college events as required.
