Job summary

Wayne Boze Funeral Home in Waxahachie, TX is seeking an Ambassador to support Funeral Directors and ensure services run smoothly for client families and their guests.

The role involves greeting and directing guests, assisting with visitation, transporting families to service locations, driving the hearse or family vehicle, and representing the business with professionalism and empathy at all times.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
• At least 1-year experience in funeral arranging preferred.
• Valid state issued driver’s license in good standing and acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Greets and directs client families and their guests to the correct chapel.
• Directs visitors to guest book and distributes memorialization materials as needed.
• Answers questions and assists with serving the needs of the client families and guests.
• Receives and places flowers in chapels.
• Ensures refreshments are available to client families and their guests.
• Maintains public spaces clean and prepared for services.
• Oversees parking area and ceremonial vehicle arrangements.
• Assists with directing and transporting families to service locations.
• Drives the hearse, family limousine or other vehicles in the funeral cortege.
• Represents the business in a professional, honest and ethical manner.
• Maintains a professional personal appearance and demeanor.
