Job description

The Monte Vista Group is quickly establishing a new and dynamic cemetery and funeral industry presence in the San Francisco Bay Area.

After 10 years in the entitlement process, Monte Vista Memorial Gardens and Mortuary is open for business as we begin construction of the Bay Area’s newest cemetery/mortuary/crematory/cultural pavilion - the first new cemetery development of its kind in the East Bay in over 100 years www.montevistamemorialgardens.com.

Monte Vista also recently acquired Santos Robinson Mortuary in San Leandro and is a strategic partner with another recent acquisition - Pacifica Chapel by the Sea in Pacifica, just 7 minutes from Colma.

We are currently accepting applications for a licensed embalmer/funeral director.

An on-site employee apartment is a possibility.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Funeral Director/Embalmer at Santos Robinson Mortuary located in San Leandro, CA. The role will involve day-to-day tasks related to embalming, funeral directing, family communication, and customer service.
