Job summary

Alter Domus in Ogden, Utah seeks a high-performing accounting graduate to join our fund services team. You will process daily cash contributions and distributions, prepare entries, and support audit activities, with guidance from senior staff.

You should prioritize multiple tasks, communicate clearly, and work both independently and with colleagues across levels. CPA or pursuit is preferred; Excel proficiency required, with opportunities for growth in a global firm.

Qualifications

• High-performing accounting graduate.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• CPA or pursuing CPA preferred.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple assignments and ambiguity.
• Ability to work independently and with professionals at all levels.
• Proficient in Excel.
• Background in private equity or public financial services is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Process and track daily cash contributions and distributions for investment fund clients.
• Demonstrate ability to prioritize tasks, work on multiple assignments, and complete work with little direction.
• Exhibit time-management by developing and executing goals in an agreed timeframe.
• Handle daily case activities and notices on assigned funds.
• Obtain approval on correcting discrepancies and missing information.
• Prepare cash and journal entries.
• Participate in quarterly and annual audit functions; and
• Understand the governing agreements between Alter Domus and the client.
