Alter Domus, a world-leading provider of integrated solutions for the alternative investment industry, is seeking a detail-oriented professional in New York to process daily cash contributions and distributions for investment fund clients. You will prioritize tasks, manage multiple assignments, and execute cash and journal entries with accuracy in a fast-paced environment.

Strong communication skills and Excel proficiency are essential, with CPA or CPA-aspirant encouraged.

Qualifications

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, manage ambiguity and work on multiple assignments.
• Experience or exposure to private equity or public financial services is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Process and track daily cash contributions and distributions for investment fund clients.
• Prioritize tasks, work on multiple assignments, and complete work with little direction.
• Develop and execute specific goals within agreed timeframes to demonstrate time-management.
• Handle daily case activities and notices on assigned funds.
• Obtain approval on correcting discrepancies and missing information.
• Prepare cash and journal entries.
• Participate in quarterly and annual audit functions.
• Understand governing agreements between Alter Domus and the client.
