Natixis Corporate & Investment Banking seeks a VP or Director level Credit Officer for the Funds Risk & Credit Markets team in New York. You will assess credit requests, formulate written risk opinions, and present to Credit Committee, acting as the 2nd line of defense.

Formación

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university/college required in Finance, Accounting, Management, Economics or other business related discipline.
• Graduate degree preferred, but not essential.
• Proficiency in MS Excel; Python and SQL for analytics preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct detailed credit risk assessments and prepare written risk opinions and analysis.
• Conduct due diligence calls or visits; represent the bank with clients.
• Articulate a convincing case in support of the risk opinion to senior management and credit committees.
• Translate credit view into enforceable contractual protection and negotiate credit terms.
• Stay connected with industry trends and macro factors affecting the portfolio.
• Maintain understanding of the regulatory environment for counterparties.
