JCW Group in New York seeks an Executive Director to lead its Hedge Fund and Private Equity Credit Risk team within the Credit Risk Division. The role oversees credit assessments, limits, and approvals for hedge funds and PE funds and collaborates with Front Office, Legal, and Compliance.

The successful candidate will manage a team of VPs, Associates and Analysts across the Americas, present risk analyses to senior management, and contribute to risk analytics and regulatory initiatives.

Qualifications

• Experience leading credit risk teams in hedge funds or similar.

Responsabilités

• Lead and develop a team of VPs, Associates and Analysts across the Americas.
• Oversee credit assessments, ratings, limits and approvals for hedge funds and private equity funds.
• Conduct client due diligence, evaluating investment strategies, performance, leverage, liquidity and risk management frameworks.
• Monitor portfolio risk, identify deteriorating credit quality and recommend appropriate risk mitigation measures.
• Oversee trading approvals, margin requirements and transaction structuring.
• Negotiate credit terms and covenants across Prime Brokerage, ISDA/CSA and GMRA documentation.
• Partner with Front Office, Market Risk, Legal, Compliance and other global stakeholders.
• Present portfolio risk assessments to senior management and regional/global risk committees.
• Contribute to credit policy development, regulatory initiatives and enhancements to risk analytics and monitoring tools.
