Job summary

Wallowa Land Trust in Enterprise, Oregon seeks a Development Manager to lead fundraising, donor relations, and strategy. The role reports to the Executive Director and is Exempt, full-time, 36 hours per week.

You will develop annual and multi-year fundraising plans, manage donor pipelines and grant activities, coordinate communications, and support board engagement.

Qualifications

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Experience with donor databases or CRM preferred.
  • Ability to work independently in a small, collaborative team.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and oversee annual and multi-year fundraising plans with clear goals, deliverables, and metrics.
  • Maintain fundraising systems, processes, and tools for continuity and transparency.
  • Manage donor pipelines and engagement strategies for cultivation and stewardship.
  • Coordinate foundation and agency grants, and ensure timely reporting and compliance.
  • Support donor engagement through meetings, events, and timely follow-up.
  • Serve on leadership team and help engage the Board and Development Committee.
