Job summary

Alonzo King LINES Ballet is seeking a Development Associate to support all fundraising operations at a premier arts organization based in San Francisco. The role focuses on gift processing, donor acknowledgments, CRM oversight, stewardship events, and data reporting.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of prior fundraising experience (preferred).
• Fluency in one or more CMS (Salesforce used by the Ballet).
• Strong attention to detail and reliability.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in small, agile teams.
• Passion for the arts and integrity.

Responsibilities

• Process gifts in CRM and acknowledge donors with letters and calls.
• Generate donor lists for stewardship materials and program books.
• Maintain donor records and advise on data practices.
• Run basic and advanced CRM queries for mailing lists, reports, and campaigns.
• Support prospect research to inform meetings and strategy.
• Attend performances and events to engage donors and coordinate visits.
