The Regional Fundraising & Development Director will lead new partnership development in the East Coast, focusing on engaging funders across private/public foundations, corporate CSR, sponsorships, and government entities.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of growing contributed revenue, meeting fundraising goals, and expanding donor and sponsor bases to enable more youth training and placement into college and careers.

Role and Responsibilities

• Identify and cultivate relationships with potential new donors, sponsors, and partners to expand funding streams.
• Develop outreach templates for engaging donors via email, phone, in-person meetings, and site visits.
• Present tailored proposals and presentations to potential donors.
• Attend donor and community events to increase visibility and funding pipelines.
• Research funding opportunities and landscape to inform strategies.
• Maintain an active calendar of donor deadlines, coordinate with grants staff for reporting and CRM management.
• Track and report on fundraising progress to leadership.
• Goal to double donor numbers and contributed revenue from $1M to $2M, focusing 80% on new business development and 20% on renewals.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of fundraising experience, with a track record of bringing in $750,000+ annually.
• Experience working with donors in Boston, Atlanta, or other regions.
• Strong relationship-building, communication, and business acumen skills.
• Self-motivated, organized, and culturally sensitive.

Compensation & Work Environment

• Salary: $90,000–$110,000/year
• Full-time, 40 hours/week, with benefits including health, dental, vision, life insurance, and 401(k).
• Location: Remote, based in Boston or Atlanta, with travel within the territory.
• Some evening/weekend work required for events and productions.
