Job summary

IAP2 is seeking the services of a highly experienced development and fundraising consultant to help build the organization’s fundraising capacity and develop a strategic fundraising and sustainability plan to diversify and expand revenue sources.

IAP2 is the preeminent international organization advancing the practice of public participation and community engagement. IAP2 views public participation as any process that involves the public in problem solving or decision making and uses public input to make inclusive and sustainable decisions.

Since founding in 1990, our mission is to promote and advance public participation / community engagement globally through targeted initiatives that are guided by culturally adaptive standards of practice and core values.

IAP2 is an international body (US 501(c)3) with regional and national affiliates in Australasia, Canada, Indonesia, Latin America, Southern Africa and the United States, along with emerging areas of practice in Saudi Arabia and Asia Pacific among others.

IAP2 is currently undergoing a process of organizational review and change. IAP2 believes that to achieve our mission additional resources are needed to build capacity, fund strategic initiatives and expand our impact globally.
