Longbridge Financial is seeking a Funding Specialist for our Paramus, NJ headquarters to review closing packages and ensure loans are compliant before wiring funds or purchasing loans. This on-site role supports timely funding and disbursement processes.

The role emphasizes accurate pre-funding review, collaboration with loan officers, settlement agents, and lenders, and ensuring LOS data integrity. In-office hours apply weekdays.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word.

Responsibilities

• Utilize checklist to complete pre-funding / pre-purchase review of closing documents.
• Communicate with inside staff, loan officers, settlement agents and lenders to ensure loans are funded and purchased in a timely manner.
• Determine all underwriting pre-funding and pre-purchase conditions have been satisfied.
• Maintain data integrity of LOS fields.
• Verify and balance wire amounts for daily reconciliation.
• Coordinate with settlement agents to ensure loans are fully disbursed.
