Job summary

CAKE Mortgage is seeking a Funding Manager to oversee the mortgage closing team, ensuring timely preparation, review, and funding of residential loan closings. You will manage workflows, coordinate with title companies, and ensure compliance with TRID, RESPA, TILA, and investor guidelines.

Lead and mentor closers, funders, and support staff, optimize processes for efficiency, and maintain quality control. This role offers growth within a fast-paced, collaborative environment in our Florida

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required; relevant mortgage industry experience acceptable.
• Proficiency with Encompass.
• 5+ years mortgage industry experience with at least 2 years in a management capacity.
• Strong knowledge of mortgage closing, funding pipelines, and post-closing coordination.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, mentor, and train closing department staff, including closers, funders, and support staff.
• Coordinate with title companies and internal departments to ensure timely closings.
• Ensure closings are scheduled, prepared, and completed accurately and on time.
• Review closing documents for accuracy, compliance, and completeness.
• Maintain and update closing policies, procedures, and training materials.
