Qualifications

• 3+ years of Big 4 or national accounting firms fund accounting experience in the private equity industry.
• Ability to interpret/apply financial and operational terms of Limited Partnership Agreements for private equity funds.
• Undergraduate degree in Accounting.
• CPA and/or CA preferred.
• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Allvue and Yardi experience are a huge plus.
• Proficient knowledge of fund accounting software (Investran, E-Front, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Prepare quarterly and annual financial statements, footnotes, workpaper packages, and investor reporting packages.
• Manage day-to-day operating activities for private equity and real estate fund administration clients.
• Become an expert user in the firm's fund administration technology platform.
• Assist with onboarding new clients and setup of investors, investments, reports, LP reporting portal.
• Prepare capital calls and distribution calculations in the platform.
• Maintain and update investor data as needed.
• Respond to client inquiries and LP inquiries.
• Coordinate with external auditors and tax providers for year-end audits and tax return information.
• Train junior staff once established.
