Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a senior fund accounting professional to lead private equity accounting engagements in the US. The role emphasizes managing capital calls, distributions, and cash management, while coordinating with offshore teams and auditing partners to ensure timely, accurate reporting.

The candidate should have 7+ years in fund accounting, a accounting degree, strong LP agreement knowledge, and proficiency in Allvue and Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of fund accounting experience in private equity.
• Strong knowledge of Limited Partnership Agreement terms.
• Accounting degree required; CPA/CA preferred.
• Graduate degree in Accounting is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as day-to-day engagement manager for fund administration engagements.
• Manage capital calls, distributions, wires, and cash management.
• Coordinate offshore team activities with leadership from offshore affiliates.
• Educate US team on fund administration client servicing.
• Interact with clients to ensure deliverables are met.
• Become an expert user of the firm’s fund administration technology platforms.
• Support quality control and adherence to policies and procedures.
• Coordinate with auditors on annual audit activities.
• Assist with waterfall data calculations/models and carried interest.
