Job summary

SALI Fund Services, a JTC Group Company, based in Austin, TX, seeks an Assistant General Counsel to advise on private funds, formation and structuring, including drafting offering documents. Expertise with the Advisers Act and related regulatory matters is essential.

You will support regulatory compliance, including SEC/CFTC matters, and work with outside counsel on cross‑border issues. Strong drafting, negotiation, and collaboration skills are required.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school and admission to practice in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• 4–8 years of legal experience, in-house at an asset management firm or at a top law firm advising private fund clients.
• Experience drafting and negotiating private fund offering and governing documents.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. securities laws and regulations governing funds and advisers.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate private fund formation documents and service provider contracts.
• Support fund formation, launch, and capital raising with business and operations teams.
• Advise on ongoing fund management matters and regulatory filings.
• Research and ensure compliance with the Advisers Act and related regimes.
