Job summary

AngelList is seeking a Fund Migrations Senior Associate to oversee onboarding and migration of funds to the AngelList platform. You will manage data validation, operational setup, and stakeholder communication across multiple engagements, while guiding offshore specialists and enhancing processes with AI-driven improvements.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in public accounting, fund administration, fund accounting, investment operations, or a related financial services environment.
• CPA license is preferred but not essential.
• Experience with complex client implementations, fund onboardings, or large-scale initiatives.
• Strong knowledge of alternative investment structures (PE/VC/digital assets) and ASC 946.
• Exceptional project management and organizational skills with ability to prioritize deadlines.
• Excellent communication and relationship management with clients and teams.
• Instinct to question processes and use AI/automation to improve them.

Responsibilities

• Execute end-to-end fund migrations and transition non-registered funds to AngelList platform.
• Lead multiple concurrent migration engagements, tracking milestones and ensuring timely implementation.
• Review and validate migrated data (investor capital accounts, ledgers, portfolios, waterfall) for accuracy.
• Collaborate with clients and external stakeholders to gather information and provide updates.
• Mentor offshore migration specialists and provide technical guidance.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation in onboarding workflows.
• Ensure migrations complete on schedule with high accuracy and minimal disruption.
• Build long-term trusted relationships with investment manager clients.
